Overcoming stagefright - using EFT (tapping)

EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as "tapping", is a form of therapy where you use "normal" speaking therapy whilst tapping on certain points on your body. This is a very effective form of therapy, scientifically proven to send calming signals to the amygdala in the brain and as a result, lowering the cortisol (stress) levels in your body.

“Throughout my life I have struggled a lot with stage fright, sheer panic in audition situations, having had a constant frustration knowing I could do so much more than I manage to show in certain situations. Even though having had a successful career I have suffered from this and being in-and-out of different therapies without managing to solve my problem.

For me EFT has been a revolution! I have found an easy, pain-free way to release stress and break through my old patterns - and I'd like to teach you how to do it as well!

I hope you will find this as life-changing as I have.”

What is EFT?
EFT (tapping) is a scientifically proven technique to work on deeper issues, traumas and belief systems held in your body that might stop you from being free to be you in more pressured situations in life. It’s a combination of speaking therapy and tapping at certain points on your body. It has proven to work well in several areas like anxiety, PTSD, depression, physical pain, addictions etc.

EFT is great in many ways and one of them is that you can do it yourself. Once learned you don’t need a lot of therapy sessions (though with deeper issues you might need a therapist to guide and help you). You can do it yourself. You also have a tool to use if the stage fright suddenly hits you when dealing with something important.

“ The EFT sessions with Mia was revolutionary for me. It’s incredible how much this technique can positively affect the way you perceive the emotions that you might feel before an audition or before going on stage for example. It’s very simple and yet very effective, I can definitely say that I really loved having these EFT sessions with Mia.”
