Vocal coaching

"Mia was undoubtedly a key to my successful audition. She helped me
not only vocally, but also by developing a winning repertoire and by boosting my confidence about performing in front of a jury.” - Dagmar Zeromska, Opera singer at Musikalische Komödie, Leipzig Oper

Mia is a vastly experienced vocal coach with 20+ years of experience. She has a unique combination of being a top performer herself with many lead roles on her CV, having a Master’s degree in vocal coaching, being a good pianist and a certified EFT (tapping) coach, also working with the psychological demands of a performer.

She is currently coaching several of the principals for Det Ny Teater’s upcoming shows. Mia is also teaching at “Savery Academy” in Copenhagen, a full-time foundation musical theatre course and coaching the children in "Fiddler on the roof", teaching them vocal technique and choir practice.

Mia’s students can be seen/ have been seen in shows like Phantom of the opera (Copenhagen, World tour, West End, UK tour, Stockholm), Miss Saigon (Malmö Opera), Dirty Dancing (West End), Mamma Mia (UK tour), Kinky boots (UK tour), Lion King (West End), Fiddler on the roof (Copenhagen) and Dusty (West End) to name a few.

“Mia is an exceptional teacher who understands the needs of her students and tailors her lessons accordingly. I have used her for audition preparation and been successful because of her. She gives confidence and for me, she made singing fun and a pleasure. As an actress that sings rather than a musical theatre performer I needed an extra boost which she gave me. I have recommended her to many friends all of whom praise her highly. She is the best singing teacher I've ever had”.
Joan Walker, actress ("Mamma Mia", UK tour, "Dusty", West End, among others)
